Switzerland to Welcome Moroccan Travelers as Border Restrictions Ease

Morocco is one of the countries to which Switzerland intends to reopen its borders during this month of July.
Switzerland is preparing to draw up a list of "safe" countries whose nationals will be allowed to enter its territory from July 20. The country will remove, in the coming days, Morocco, Algeria, Australia, Canada, South Korea, Georgia, Japan, Montenegro, New Zealand, Rwanda, Thailand, Tunisia and Uruguay as well as Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Ireland and Romania from the list of high-risk countries.
On Tuesday, the ambassadors of the EU and Schengen area countries approved the provisional list of 15 "safe" countries to which Europe is already reopening its borders. Switzerland will follow the same path as the other European countries but has decided to only reopen its borders from July 20.
