Morocco Off-Limits for Belgian Travelers as COVID-19 Restrictions Continue

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Belgium, like other European countries, has established a list of safe countries for its citizens. Morocco, despite its relatively stable epidemiological situation, is not on this list.
Morocco remains, to date, a risky destination for the Belgian government. It is still one of the unreliable and unlisted countries by the government on its website. Consequently, it will not be possible for Belgian nationals to travel to the Kingdom this summer.
"It is forbidden to travel to countries that are not mentioned below, unless it is an essential trip," it is written on the website of the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Since Morocco is not mentioned, it is strictly forbidden to travel there.
For now, only these countries, namely Germany, Austria, Spain (specific confinement areas), Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Malta, Norway, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal (specific confinement areas), the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom (specific confinement areas), Slovenia, Slovakia, Switzerland are the safe travel zones or safe destinations for Belgian tourists.
