Switzerland Restricts Entry from Morocco and 160 Countries Due to COVID-19 Risk

Morocco is one of the 160 countries considered at risk due to their epidemiological situation, to whom Switzerland is closing its borders from Sunday, August 16. This is the decision of the Federal Department of Justice and Police (DFJP).
Only nationals of Andorra, Australia, Bulgaria, Canada, Cyprus, South Korea, Croatia, Georgia, Ireland, Japan, Monaco, New Zealand, Romania, Rwanda, San Marino, Thailand, Tunisia, Uruguay and the Vatican are allowed to enter Switzerland under the same conditions as before the coronavirus crisis, reports TdG Switzerland. However, they will be quarantined.
Morocco and other non-Schengen countries are on the list of risk countries of the State Secretariat for Migration (SEM). All nationals of these countries are no longer allowed to come to Switzerland.
