Suspected Jihadist Arrested in Morocco for Planning Tourist Site Attacks

A man was arrested this Tuesday morning by the Moroccan police, in collaboration with the General Information Commissariat (CGI) of the Spanish police. He would be a jihadist terrorist who was planning attacks in Morocco.
According to the information available to the police, the accused had already put his plan into action and had previously inquired about the manufacture of explosives. He was planning to carry out terrorist attacks against tourist sites in Morocco.
The investigation that led to his arrest began at the end of 2020. Spanish agents noted the fervor with which the man glorified the perpetrators of the latest terrorist attacks carried out in Europe.
