Spain Deports Suspected Terrorist to Morocco for Inciting Violence Online

The Spanish authorities have expelled to Morocco an individual arrested in March in the Spanish city of Basauri in the Basque Country for inciting terrorist actions against Morocco.
The expulsion went smoothly and the individual, under the escort of Spanish police, landed on Tuesday at Casablanca airport, say sources close to the case to EFE. According to statements from the Spanish Ministry of the Interior, the man was arrested in Spain for radicalization. He used his profile on social networks to incite terrorist actions against Moroccan nationals and institutions in Spain and abroad.
The Spanish police opened an investigation in December 2020 after being informed of the publication of terrorist threats on the individual’s social networks, who obviously intended to commit these acts against Moroccans, and mainly against pro-Moroccan Sahrawis. His arrest was made possible by the operation carried out by the agents of the General Information Commissariat, in collaboration with the information brigades of the cities of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Tenerife, San Sebastián and Bilbao.
