Suspect Surrenders in Fatal Shooting of 21-Year-Old in Avignon

If the death of the young Abderrahim Amazian, 21, killed by gunfire in the night from Friday to Saturday, caused great consternation among all the people of Avignon, we know a little more since Monday about his alleged killer.
Would the murder of the young Abderrahim, a resident of the Monclar district, be the consequence of a settling of scores? For the moment, nothing allows us to affirm it, even if the young man had a bad reputation with the police, with about twenty mentions in his criminal record.
While no arrest has yet been made in connection with this crime, a 39-year-old man presented himself on his own, Monday morning, at the Avignon police station.
Immediately suspected of being responsible for the death of the young Abderrahim Amazian, killed by gunfire in the night from Friday to Saturday, on the banks of the Durance, this Avignonnais was placed in police custody in the premises of the Montpellier regional judicial police department’s Avignon branch, reports La Provence, the French website that reported the information.
The same source specifies that the investigators in charge of the investigations into the death of the 21-year-old man continue their interviews with the victim’s entourage.
