A young man from Tetouan, around 24 years old, was arrested as part of the investigation into the death of a woman whose body had been found inside a suitcase in the Gueznaia area, on the outskirts of Tangier.
The investigation into the death of a young woman whose charred and disfigured body had been found Tuesday evening inside a suitcase in the Gueznaia area, on the outskirts of Tangier, is ongoing. On Friday, the elements of the royal gendarmerie of the Tangier brigade went down to a house in the Salima housing estate near the Al Mernissi mosque in the city. They seized a "Mini Cooper" car, suspected of having been used to transport the victim’s body. Traces of blood were found there.
The investigation reveals that the seized car belongs to the victim. The judicial identification elements of the royal gendarmerie are responsible for lifting the fingerprints and taking blood samples present inside, as well as anything that could be useful for the judicial investigation to reach the perpetrator or perpetrators of this odious crime.
