Suspect Arrested in Morocco for Murder of Two Foreign Hikers Near Mount Toubkal

The Central Bureau of Judicial Investigation (BCIJ) has just announced the arrest of a man suspected of being linked to the murder of two foreign tourists whose bodies were found yesterday morning near Mount Toubkal.
"The Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance managed, on Tuesday morning, in close coordination and cooperation with the services of the Royal Gendarmerie and the National Security, to arrest an individual for his alleged involvement in this crime," says a statement from the BCIJ.
The man was arrested in Marrakech, adds the BCIJ, according to which he was placed in custody "in order to determine the motive for this crime, while the investigations continue to arrest other individuals who have been identified and who are suspected of having participated in the execution of these criminal acts."
