Three Suspects Arrested in Moroccan Tourist Murder Case

The Moroccan authorities have just announced the arrest of three men suspected of murdering the two Scandinavian tourists overnight from Sunday to Monday near Mount Toubkal.
"As part of the research and investigations carried out following the murder of two foreign tourists in the Imlil commune, Al Haouz region, the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations (BCIJ), under the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST), in coordination with the security elements of the Marrakech police prefecture, arrested three other suspects involved in this criminal act on Thursday morning," says a BCIJ statement.
"The accused were arrested in Marrakech and are currently undergoing a judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office in order to determine the circumstances of this criminal act, reveal its true motives as well as the terrorist motive of this crime, which was supported by evidence and data from the investigation procedures," the statement said.
On Tuesday morning, the police had announced the arrest of a first suspect.
Yesterday, the investigators had confirmed the terrorist nature of these murders.
