Morocco Arrests 9 Suspects Linked to Tourist Murders in Imlil Terror Attack

The Central Bureau of Judicial Investigation (BCIJ) has just announced the arrest of nine people for their alleged links with the perpetrators of the terrorist act that cost the lives of two foreign tourists.
These arrests took place in Marrakech, Essaouira, Sidi Bennour, Tangier and Chtouka-Ait Baha, the BCIJ said in a press release, which specifies that the investigation will then determine their links with the terrorist act.
During the searches, the police seized an unauthorized hunting rifle, bladed weapons, torches, binoculars, a military uniform, protective laboratory goggles, suspicious materials that could be used for the manufacture and preparation of explosives, as well as electronic equipment.
All the accused have been taken into custody as part of the investigation, it was reported.
