Surveillance Video Captures Fatal Shooting of Moroccan Man in Southern Spain

A hooded man shot three times at close range on Monday a Moroccan sitting at the wheel of a yellow truck. Surveillance cameras recorded the scene that took place in Torremolinos, southern Spain. The victim did not survive.
In the video recorded by the surveillance cameras, we see the victim, a 35-year-old Moroccan, park a yellow truck in a central street of the municipality, get out of it and open the rear trunk to check something that was not clearly distinguished in the image, before getting back behind the wheel. It was at this moment that a hooded man, taking advantage of the darkness, approached the vehicle and shot the Moroccan three times at close range, before fleeing, according to municipal sources to EFE.
The residents, who say they confused the gunshots with firecrackers, informed the police a little late, around 9 a.m., while the crime was committed in the early morning, around 6 a.m.
The investigation, led by the Organized Crime Unit, remains open in order to find the perpetrator of the crime and determine the motives.
