Summer 2026: Nador launches major operations to prepare its beaches

As the summer season approaches, authorities in Nador province have begun a series of inspections of local beaches. The objective is to assess their readiness and improve the quality of services for future vacationers.

On May 2 and 3, the provincial governor conducted an evaluation tour of the coastline. According to a statement, this inspection targeted the sites of Arekmane, Sidi El Bachir, Ras El Ma, the artificial beach on the corniche, Bougana and Beni Chiker. Additional visits are planned soon in Iazzanen. This initiative made it possible to draw up a precise assessment and identify gaps that could affect the reception of summer visitors.

The evaluation also covered safety and hygiene conditions, signage at entrances, surveillance systems, as well as the availability of parking and sanitary facilities.

Alongside material improvements, emphasis was placed on the need to launch educational campaigns targeting visitors. These actions will aim to promote eco-responsible behavior in order to preserve environmental cleanliness. All of these measures seek to strengthen the attractiveness of Nador’s coastline and provide secure spaces capable of meeting the strong tourist demand expected for summer 2026.
