Stones thrown at the house of a TikToker in Morocco: he is accused of "sexual content" and disturbance

The case erupted following several complaints filed by residents of the Al Amal (Dar Tounsi) neighborhood. They denounced the noise disturbances caused by the "live streams" that the TikToker allegedly conducted until late at night. The conflict escalated when several residents also accused the young man of adopting "immoral behavior" and disseminating "sexual content" in his videos, which sparked discontent among the neighbors.

Tensions and stone throwing

The tensions led to a physical and verbal confrontation in front of the TikToker’s home. Local sources report that neighbors surrounded the house, creating moments of chaos. The confrontation included the throwing of stones against the facade, a scene filmed by Adam Benchakroun himself, who denounced a "deliberate attack" aimed at expelling him from the neighborhood.

According to witnesses, Adam’s mother would have verbally insulted and threatened the neighbors, claiming that she could bring in support from other neighborhoods. Dozens of people thus gathered before the arrival of the security forces, who intervened to restore calm and arrest the people involved.

The public prosecutor’s office has opened a judicial investigation. This covers both the neighbors’ complaints (regarding the disturbances and the content of the videos) and the complaint for property damage, following the stone throwing. The TikToker and his mother should be presented to the public prosecutor’s office in the coming days, once the hearings of all parties are completed.
