Starbucks and H&M Reaffirm Commitment to Moroccan Market Amid Exit Rumors

The Kuwaiti group Alshaya, which manages the international brands H&M and Starbucks in Morocco, has just reacted to the rumors that the two brands were going to permanently leave the kingdom.
"We are committed to our activities in Morocco," said a group official to SNRT, confirming the continued operation of all Starbucks cafes in Morocco and making some changes regarding the "H&M" stores.
"We will continue to operate H&M stores in the country, while regularly reviewing our brand portfolio to ensure we open the right stores in the right locations for our customers," he specified in this statement.
For the group, this approach is part of a broader strategy to maximize the brand’s potential in the Moroccan market, as evidenced by the spokesperson’s statement, who says he believes "in the long-term success of the brand".
Regarding Starbucks, the group has reassured about the sustainability of all its cafes in Morocco. There will therefore be no closure of Starbucks or H&M in the country.
