Standard de Liège to Receive $350,000 FIFA Payout for Amallah’s World Cup Performance

The World Cup is coveted not only by players but also by clubs, as it allows them to obtain nice economic benefits. Despite the cold with his club, Standard de Liège, Moroccan international Selim Amallah will still make them earn 350,000 euros, thanks to his selection in the national team.
Author of good performances during the World Cup, the Moroccan left winger was a pillar of Walid Regragui’s system, who started him four times in seven matches during the tournament. Amallah greatly contributed to making the Moroccan defense impregnable, making it one of the best in the competition.
This participation of the Moroccan will indeed bring a nice sum to the Rouches thanks to the compensation paid by FIFA to the clubs that release their players for the World Cup. According to the figures, Amallah will have spent 34 days with his selection, so Standard should receive 349,520 €, or 10,280 € per day of availability.
Sidelined from the group following disagreements with the management around his contract extension, the 26-year-old player could bounce back to another club as early as the next transfer window. His performances with the national team and Morocco’s new status, the 4th best country at the World Cup, could lead several clubs to recruit him. An option desired by Standard, since Amallah’s contract will expire next June and he will then be free of any commitment.
