Spanish PM Sanchez to Address Congress on Morocco Agreements, Sahara Policy

The President of the Spanish Government, Pedro Sanchez, will soon appear before Congress to account for the commitments made with Morocco during the high-level meeting, particularly regarding the Sahara.
At the request of the deputies of the Popular Party (PP) and the Spanish Socialist Party (PSOE), supported by most of the other parliamentary groups, Pedro Sanchez will appear during the next plenary session of Congress, which could be held on March 8 or later, depending on his schedule.
At a press conference, the PP spokesperson, Cuca Gamarra, welcomed the fact that the requests for appearance had been accepted and deplored, moreover, "the absolute opacity" of the government in foreign policy matters.
Gamarra wants to have details on the commitments made by the government during the last high-level meeting with Morocco, particularly regarding the Sahara and the opening of customs in Ceuta and Melilla.
The PP leader also denounced the lack of communication from Pedro Sanchez with the leader of the opposition, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, on Spanish aid to Ukraine in the conflict opposing it to Russia.
