Spanish Power Equipment Giant Himoinsa Expands Operations in Morocco

Himoinsa, the Spanish giant specialized in electrical equipment, has just opened a branch in Morocco in order to meet the demand of the market. This subsidiary, which uses a Moroccan technical team, has a warehouse for the storage of generators, lighting masts and spare parts.
Present on the Moroccan market for 18 years, the opening in Casablanca of this subsidiary of the Spanish Group is a "strategic" project, according to Challenge.ma.
For Lydia Gracia, CEO of the Group, the new facilities will not only supply the Moroccan market but also the West African countries with which the Group has been working for nearly twenty years. Himoinsa specializes in the design, manufacture and marketing of power generation systems.
According to the words of Guillermo Elum, Director of the Group in the MENA region, reported by Chalenge.ma, this project is one of the main milestones raised by the company for 2019 and will help the company strengthen its presence in Africa.
The magazine reveals that Sabir Zouhir, CEO of Himoinsa Maroc, for his part ensures that the main purpose of the new subsidiary is to continue to develop major projects with the help of a local team that knows the customer’s needs very well. Himoinsa currently has 12 subsidiaries and 8 production centers on five continents.
