Bouygues Immobilier Exits Morocco, Citing Market Uncertainty

Bouygues Immobilier Maroc is on its way out. By setting up in the Kingdom, this global group was reassuring of a long-term partnership, thanks to the Moroccan market, which it nevertheless described as strategic. How then to understand this disengagement?
This departure is justified by the arrival at the head of the real estate branch of the French giant, of a new Executive who intends to inject new momentum into the group, internationally, reports Challenge, which recalls that since February 13, 2019, it is Pascal Minault who now holds the reins of the group.
The same source explains that the departure of this subsidiary of the Group is justified by the "lack of visibility" on the market. Yet, the only project, "Les faubourgs d’Anfa", which it initiated in Morocco was quite successful. And nothing can justify that other projects submitted do not reach the expected objective. All in all, the brand has its reasons elsewhere and cannot claim not to have succeeded in Morocco.
On the other hand, the two other subsidiaries of the Bouygues Group in Morocco, Bymaro (Moroccan subsidiary of Bouygues Bâtiment International, specialized in building and civil engineering projects) and Colas (construction) have nothing to do with this decision, and continue their activities in the Kingdom, indicates the same source.
