Spanish Police Bust Major Moroccan Hashish Smuggling Ring in Multi-Province Raid

The Civil Guard has launched a large-scale operation to dismantle a Moroccan hashish trafficking network called "operation Limoneros". In this context, 400 agents were deployed on Monday in the provinces of Seville, Huelva, Cáceres, Badajoz, Toledo and Murcia.
The operation made it possible to dismantle a criminal organization that has introduced large quantities of hashish by air and sea into Spain. The traffickers transported the hashish from Morocco in helicopters and planes, which they then distributed in Spain and other European countries, reports NIUS. In total, 24 people were arrested and documents and computer equipment were seized.
