Spanish Police Arrest Two Terror Suspects in Malaga Anti-Terror Raid

Agents of the Rapid Action Group (GAR), an elite unit of the Spanish Civil Guard, arrested two men, one of Moroccan nationality and the other from Melilla, during an anti-terrorist operation carried out in Malaga.
The justice system has ordered the detention of the two individuals who were arrested during a large-scale anti-terrorist operation, say sources close to the investigation to Málaga Hoy.

The agents were deployed in two neighborhoods of the city. In Lagunillas, they managed to surround a dilapidated building that would serve as a refuge, according to statements from neighbors who have observed movements of people on the premises in recent days.

An investigation has been opened to determine if the two men have links with other individuals recently arrested and suspected of being members of a jihadist terrorist cell. Further arrests could take place in the coming days, according to sources close to the operation.
