Spanish Police Arrest Major Mocro Maffia Leader in Marbella Drug Bust

The Spanish Police have arrested a major drug trafficker in Marbella, known for his role on the Costa del Sol. Karim Bouyakhrichan is also considered one of the main leaders of the Mocro Maffia, one of the most influential criminal groups in the Netherlands.
The individual, named Karim Bouyakhrichan, is accused of having laundered six million euros from international drug trafficking. He would also be a major rival of Redouan Taghi, the other boss of the Mocro Maffia.
The case does not stop there. Five other individuals were arrested in the province of Malaga and in Melilla, also suspected of being involved in money laundering and belonging to this Moroccan mafia.
The central figure of this operation had been on the radar of the Dutch authorities for some time. This trafficker, very well known on the Costa del Sol, has been involved in multiple investigations over the years, proving to be a central link between the criminal networks of Europe and Latin America.
The balance sheet of the police operation is impressive: seizure of 75,000 euros in cash, jewelry estimated at 10,000 euros and two firearms. But that’s not all: 173 real estate properties (value: 50 million euros) were frozen, as well as three million euros spread across 148 bank accounts.
