Spanish Opposition Claims Sahara Letter to Morocco’s King ’Drafted in Rabat’

The Partido Popular (PP) candidate for the Senate in Melilla for the upcoming general elections on July 23, Isabel Moreno, is convinced that the letter from Pedro Sanchez addressed to King Mohammed VI to express Spain’s support for the Moroccan autonomy plan "was written in Rabat and signed in Madrid".
Moreno made this statement after several local media reported on Monday that President Sanchez had admitted the non-existence of a document attesting to the receipt of the famous letter to King Mohammed VI, in which the head of the Spanish Executive recognized the Moroccan autonomy plan for the Sahara as the "most serious, realistic and credible" solution to the conflict.
"Does this mean that Sanchez is willing to endure anything from Morocco, as he has demonstrated so far, causing harm to the inhabitants of Melilla?" Moreno wonders. And she insistently asks: "What compromising information does Morocco have that Sanchez is acting in this irresponsible way?"
For the PP candidate in Melilla, Spain’s "unstable" foreign policy towards Morocco is "particularly" affecting Ceuta, Melilla and the Canary Islands. Moreno also accused the general secretary of the Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party (PSOE) in Melilla, Gloria Rojas, and the party’s organization secretary, Sabrina Moh, of being "co-responsible" for this "submission" to Morocco.
