Spaniards who plan to travel abroad this September have chosen destinations such as Marrakech, Rome, Porto and Lisbon, says Destinia, noting a 19% increase in Spanish travelers this month compared to the same period last year.
September already represents 14% of summer bookings, compared to 12% last year or before the pandemic, the travel agency analyzes, noting that Spaniards are increasingly preferring to travel in September, when the weather is milder.
Bookings by Spaniards for the month of September have increased by 11%. Regarding foreign bookings, French tourists are in the lead, followed by the English and the Portuguese. The average length of bookings in September is 4.6 days.
