Spanish Farm Manager Arrested for Exploiting and Sexually Assaulting Moroccan Worker

The Spanish police have arrested a 68-year-old manager of a cattle farm, accused of having exploited and raped a 47-year-old Moroccan woman for a month.
The accused forced the victim to work under inhumane conditions during the day and to submit to his sexual urges at night for a month. Alerted to the situation by a family member from Morocco, the police managed to free the Moroccan woman and arrest the man, accused of the alleged crimes of illegal detention, sexual assault and against workers’ rights, reports El Día de Valladolid.
The victim remained locked in an apartment in the Las Delicias neighborhood, where the man who had recruited her to work on a cattle farm came to rape her regularly, making her his work and sexual slave, according to sources from the provincial police station in Valladolid who thanked the victim’s family member for this alert which was "essential" for the liberation of the latter.
"In case of suspicion of a situation of human trafficking, sexual exploitation or labor, the safest way to help the victims is to bring the information to the attention of the authorities," the Valladolid provincial police station recalled. Presented to the court after his arrest, the accused was released but will be summoned later, judicial sources said.
