Spanish Driver Crashes Car into Rabat Hospital Emergency Room, Injuring Guard

A white Dacia with a Spanish national on board burst into the emergency room of the Cheikh Zaid hospital in Rabat, yesterday, Thursday. The driver was arrested by the police.
According to the initial findings of the investigation, the 39-year-old suspect burst into the emergency department in a rental car, in a dangerous and premeditated manner, causing extensive material damage and injuring a security guard in the foot, according to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN). A nurse and a patient also suffered a deep state of shock following this incident, the same source said.
While waiting to elucidate all the circumstances of these criminal acts and to determine their true motives, which would be linked to the hospitalization of a relative of the suspect within this health establishment, the person concerned was taken into custody.
