Spain Resumes Schengen Visa Applications in Casablanca for Eligible Moroccan Travelers

The Spain visa center in Casablanca has resumed receiving Schengen visa applications. This announcement made by BLS International is good news for Moroccan citizens who had been penalized by the suspension that occurred due to the closure of the Schengen area.
"We would like to inform you that the Spain visa center in Casablanca is resuming the reception of Schengen visa applications," can be read in a message posted on the BLS website, the partner of the Spanish consulates in Morocco. However, the reception of visa applications remains subject to several conditions. Only those who have had, in the last two years, at least one Schengen visa of 6 months or more, or two Schengen visas of 3 months, can apply.
Those who had already received an appointment in 2020 but could not be received, due to the closure of the Schengen area, will be rescheduled. The BLS center in Casablanca will send an email to the people concerned. "The rescheduling will respect the hierarchy of deadlines," BLS was keen to specify.
