France Suspends Schengen Visa Platform for Moroccans, Raising Concerns

The suspension by France of the management platform for Schengen visa applications at the end of the month could complicate the processing of files submitted by Moroccans. Raising questions.
Since the announcement by the French embassy in Rabat of the temporary suspension of the digital platform dedicated to the management of Schengen visa applications, questions have arisen: is this a real technical incident or a new restrictive measure in the granting of visas? In reality, it is a technical incident, say sources in the Arabic-language daily Al Akhbar. They also stressed that the platform will be back in service just a few days after its suspension. According to them, Schengen visa applications are increasing sharply at this time, as the holidays are already approaching.
The same sources also mentioned the implementation by the French embassy in Rabat of a system that will allow people whose forms cannot be filled out online to directly deposit their files with the relevant services, for the period from May 26 to 30, 2023.
