Spain Extends Travel Restrictions for Morocco and Other Non-EU Countries Until June 30

The Spanish government has just extended until June 30 the restrictions on travel from third countries to the European Union and the Schengen area. Morocco is affected.
The Spanish Ministry of the Interior has extended until June 30 the restrictions on non-essential travel from third countries to the European Union and the Schengen area. The document, which incorporates the order of July 17, 2020 that defined a series of travel restriction measures, was published this Saturday in the Official Journal of the State (BOE).
Residents of Morocco, Algeria, Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, New Zealand, Rwanda, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia, Uruguay and China, as well as residents of the EU, Schengen area states, Andorra, Monaco, the Vatican or San Marino, holders of a long-stay visa issued by an EU Member State or a Schengen area State, are affected by these measures.
The decision also applies to healthcare professionals returning or leaving for a professional mission, maritime and air transport personnel, diplomatic, consular and international organization personnel, military and civil protection personnel, as well as students in training in Member States or Schengen area States, and in general, to any person who can prove, with supporting documents, the compelling and family reason for their trip.
