The organization of the 2030 World Cup is progressing at a good pace and the presence of Morocco among the host countries bodes well for the success of this event which will be held for the first time in three countries and on two continents, said Pedro Sanchez during a press conference following his tête-à-tête with Mohammed VI in Rabat.

The Spanish Prime Minister reaffirmed his country’s willingness to help Morocco in the successful organization of this World Cup, announcing the upcoming signing of agreements with Morocco, particularly in the railway infrastructure sector. Sánchez also expressed the wish that the 2030 World Cup final be played between the Atlas Lions and the Roja, to beautifully conclude this global football event.

The leader promised to pay particular attention to this file over the next four years. According to Spanish media, Sanchez discussed the subject with his Moroccan counterpart, Aziz Akhannouch, before being received in audience by Mohammed VI.
