Spain Forms Committee to Address Morocco’s Actions on Ceuta and Melilla Enclaves

Spain has decided to set up a ministerial committee to study the "unilateral measures" taken by Morocco and affecting the enclaves of Ceuta and Melilla. A measure that could affect bilateral relations between the two countries.
This measure was recently adopted by the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Spanish Senate at the initiative of the parliamentary group of the Popular Party (PP), reports the Europa Press agency. The political party accuses Morocco of taking a "series of unilateral measures" that negatively affect the living conditions of the inhabitants of Ceuta and Melilla.
Among other measures, the PP mentions the closure of the commercial customs of Melilla, the prohibition of the passage of goods and food products, and the imposition of visas on travelers to the two autonomous cities. For its part, the Spanish Socialist Party (PSOE) has expressed its opposition to this measure, considering that it could lead to a diplomatic crisis between Morocco and Spain.
