Spain Extends Closure of Ceuta and Melilla Borders with Morocco Until August 31

The borders of Ceuta and Melilla with Morocco will remain closed until August 31, according to an order from the Spanish Ministry of the Interior published on Saturday in the Official State Gazette (BOE).
The Tarajal border and the Beni Enzar border, closed since March 13, 2020 for health reasons, will remain closed until August 31, according to the order from the Ministry of the Interior which extends to that date the effects of the order INT/657/2020 amending the criteria for applying the temporary restrictions on non-essential travel from third countries to the European Union and the Schengen area for health reasons due to Covid-19.
Thus, the land borders will remain temporarily closed and no traveler will be able to enter or leave Spain via the cities of Ceuta and Melilla before that date.
