Spain Extends Border Closure with Morocco, Blocking Entry to Ceuta and Melilla Until July

Spain has just decided to extend the closure of its borders with Morocco. Thus, it will be impossible for any Moroccan or even foreigner to go to Ceuta or Melilla before July 1st.
The decision is official since it has been published in the official gazette this Monday, June 22, reports the local site El Faro de Ceuta, which specifies that it also concerns the border with Portugal.
Concretely, the border will be closed until June 30 at midnight exactly. It will therefore be impossible for any person coming from Morocco to go to the two autonomous cities. On July 1st, the borders on the Spanish side will be open, but it is impossible to confirm this today on the Moroccan side, as no decision has been made yet.
It should be noted that a few days ago, Morocco had exceptionally authorized the passage of many Moroccans blocked in Ceuta and Melilla since the implementation of the state of health emergency. Unfortunately, several hundred Moroccan nationals are still there, without a return date and especially with the economic and social difficulties that result from it.
