Spain Extends Border Closure with Ceuta and Melilla Until Late February

The borders with Ceuta and Melilla will remain closed at least until February 28. This is the decision made by the Spanish authorities, more than 10 months after their closure.
This decision was published in the Official Journal of the State, this Friday, January 29, in the form of an order from the Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, reports EFFE.
These border crossings were closed on March 13 due to the coronavirus crisis. According to the same source, they were reopened exceptionally, to allow the repatriation of a few hundred Moroccan nationals who were stranded there.
