Southern Spain stormed by Moroccan tourists this summer

Some 1,300,000 people, including many Moroccans, went shopping at the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet, the luxury store located ten minutes from the center of Malaga, during the summer season (June, July and August).
Malaga is one of the most attractive destinations for high-end tourism in Spain, which justifies the arrival this summer in the city of tourists with high purchasing power from Morocco, the Middle East (Kuwait, Saudi Arabia), the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Norway, Switzerland and Latin America.
The number of clients at McArthurGlen, located in the city center of the province, increased by 16% compared to last year, increasing its turnover by 20%. The sale of clothes for events, and in particular that of fresh linen clothes, exploded this summer. The Birkenstock, Tommy Hilfiger, Lacoste or Under Armour brands have been the most in demand, reports La Razón.
McArthurGlen Designer Outlet will maintain its summer hours until the end of September. The store, which is located in the Tourist Influx Zone (ZGAT), will continue to open from Monday to Sunday during the period. Foreign tourism in Spain has increased by 20% compared to last year.
