Skytrax Ranking: Moroccan Airports Absent from World’s Top 100 List

No Moroccan airport is featured in the top 100 best airports in the world. This is the result of the 2022 ranking by the international air transport rating agency, Skytrax.
As in 2021, Doha-Hamad International tops the Skytrax ranking of the 100 best airports in the world this year, ahead of Tokyo-Haneda and Singapore. Tokyo-Narita takes fourth place. It is followed by Seoul-Incheon, Roissy, Munich (which loses a place), Istanbul (up from 17th position), Zurich-Kloten (7th in 2021) and Osaka-Kansai. Helsinki-Vantaa (+2) is in 11th place ahead of Nagoya-Centrair (-1), London-Heathrow (-5), Dubai (+5), Amsterdam-Schiphol (-3), Madrid-Barajas (+3) and Copenhagen-Kastrup (+1). Guangzhou-Baiyun (-4), Vienna-Schwechat (+4) and Hong Kong-Chek Lap Kok (-10) complete the top 20.
"We are delighted to announce that Hamad International Airport has been voted the World’s Best Airport for 2022, reiterating their 2021 success [...]. Our congratulations go to all the award-winning airports [...], for whom the past two years have been extremely challenging with the many Covid-19 related restrictions and the significant drop in travel demand. With air travel rapidly returning to a more normal level, the challenge for all airports is now to deliver the highest standards to customers with heightened travel expectations," said Edward Plaisted of Skytrax.
