Six Found Hidden in Moroccan Semi-Trailer Near Nantes, France

In Orvault, the police officers of the emergency police made a rather strange discovery in a semi-trailer registered in Morocco. Six people, including four Moroccans, were apprehended.
It was following a call to 17 (the number of the national police) that emergency police officers were deployed in the ad’Park business area of Orvault, on the outskirts of Nantes, in the night of Tuesday, October 19 to Wednesday, October 20, around 4 a.m. On their arrival, they surprised two men trying to dismantle the double roof of a semi-trailer, with wooden sticks and hammers, reports France Bleu. "Inappropriate equipment," says the Nantes public prosecutor, Renaud Gaudeul. In total, 338 kilograms of cannabis resin had been hidden in 64 aluminum plates inside.
The police arrested six men: two French and four Moroccans. The manager of an electrical cable installation company, 34 years old, and his 21-year-old brother were among them. On Monday, they were placed in pre-trial detention. Indicted, in particular for unauthorized importation of drugs in an organized gang, they face a 30-year prison sentence.
