Six Arrested in Morocco for Fatal Stoning and Stabbing Over Love Triangle

Elements of the Royal Gendarmerie arrested six individuals in Kelaât Sraghna. They stoned and stabbed to death a 26-year-old man. The origin of this murder was a simple love story.

The victim and one of his attackers were fighting over the same woman named Chtiba, a resident of their douar, reports Assabah. The latter had called on the services of certain individuals with heavy criminal records to assassinate his rival.

These individuals burst into the young man’s home. They stoned him and stabbed him in the chest. The attackers left the rival for dead. The latter died in the ambulance taking him to the regional hospital of Kelaât Sraghna.

Alerted, the elements of the Royal Gendarmerie went to the crime scene. They immediately arrested six of the seven criminals. Among them, there are two who are the subject of national arrest warrants.

Pending the opening of their trial, the attackers were brought before the prosecutor of the king near the court of appeal of Marrakech who ordered their detention in the Oudaya prison in the ochre city. The mastermind of the crime is about to be brought before the prosecution.
