Siemens Gamesa’s Bid for Moroccan Wind Farm Rejected Again by ONEE

The Spanish company Siemens Gamesa has once again lost the contract for the operation and maintenance of the Dhar Saadane wind farm in the Tanger region. Its offer was declared "non-compliant".
This offer, rejected by the National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE), amounted to 32 million dirhams per year, a figure nevertheless lower than ONEE’s estimate of the cost of the work, 75.6 million dirhams per year, reports the newspaper Telquel.
The newspaper specifies that this is the second time in three months that the tenders have been unsuccessful for this project, recalling that last August, the Office had rejected the same company, Siemens Gamesa, during the tender for the Amogdoul park, in the Essaouira region.
