Siblings Arrested in Tétouan for 2012 Cold Case Murder and Cover-Up

A woman and her brother suspected of being involved in a murder committed in 2012, the victim of which would be the woman’s husband, were arrested on Wednesday by the prefectural judicial police service of Tétouan, who also accuse them of having concealed the evidence of this crime.
The suspect is said to have orchestrated the murder of her husband with the help of her brother, before burying the body in the garage of their residence, according to the MAP, specifying that, to divert the attention of the investigators, a missing person report had been filed, reporting the mysterious disappearance of the man.
The initial investigations made it possible to locate the remains of the deceased, which were discovered in the garage of the house located in Martil. The woman, who is designated as the main suspect in this case, was arrested following these discoveries.
The two suspects were taken into custody as part of the ongoing investigation. The objective for the investigators is to determine the involvement of each in this act and to identify any other individual who may have contributed to these acts.
