Shooting Erupts at French Montana Video Shoot in Florida, Injuring Multiple People

In the United States, a shooting broke out outside a Florida restaurant where American rapper of Moroccan origin, French Montana was filming a music video. The toll is about ten injured.

According to witnesses, a shooting took place at the soul food restaurant near Northwest 27th Avenue and 177th Street, The Licking in Miami Gardens, Florida, just before 8 p.m. (local time) on Thursday, January 5, reports 7News. "It was very fast, it looked like an assault rifle. I started running. [...] It was at least 13, 14, 15 gunshots," witness Ced Mogul, who says he went to the restaurant’s headquarters to attend the filming of a music video by rapper French Montana. According to him, the theft of a watch and a wallet would be the cause of the shooting.
At 10 p.m. (local time), Miami Gardens detective Diana Gorgue confirmed that there had been multiple gunshots and injuries, and that her team and she were still on the scene. However, she did not provide details on the number of injured, as an investigation is ongoing. But according to eyewitnesses, ten people were hit. Four victims were airlifted to the Ryder Trauma Center. One of the victims would be in critical condition.
