Sevilla FC Struggles Without Key Moroccan Players at Africa Cup of Nations

The absence of Moroccans Yassine Bounou, Youssef En-Nesyri and Munir El Haddadi, who are participating in the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, is seriously affecting their club, FC Seville, which drew (2-2) on Saturday against Celta.
Morocco’s qualification for the round of 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations will further delay the return of the Moroccan players playing for FC Seville. The Moroccan team will face Malawi next Tuesday and remains one of the favorites of the competition. Meanwhile, Yassine Bounou, Youssef En-Nesyri and Munir El Haddadi are sorely missed by their club, which is struggling to regain victories.

If the Atlas Lions qualify for the semi-finals, the three Moroccan players of FC Seville will miss the match against Osasuna on February 5, as they will have to play the third-place match on February 6. In this case, Julen Lopetegui will be able to find his players on February 13 for the match against Elche.
FC Seville has already recorded two defeats in the league and is actively preparing for the UEFA Europa League which begins on February 17.
