Sevilla’s Star Goalkeeper Yassine Bounou Seeks Transfer Amid Benching

The Moroccan goalkeeper of FC Seville, Yassine Bounou, is looking for a new destination to regain playing time. After being one of the best goalkeepers in LaLiga in recent years, with more than extraordinary performances, he has recently lost his starting spot in favor of Serbian goalkeeper Marko Dmitrovic, under the direction of José Luis Mendilibar.
This situation has ended up annoying the Moroccan player who does not want to be content with a secondary role. He has therefore started steps to find a new club as early as the next transfer window, reports Fishajes.es.
Several clubs, including Leeds United, West Ham, AC Milan or Roma, would be interested in the services of the 31-year-old goalkeeper for next season. FC Seville, who plans to part with one of its best current players, is considering selling the player to get the best out of it. Yassine Bounou has a contract in force until June 30, 2024.
Since his arrival from Girona, Bono has played a total of 134 matches, conceding 131 goals and keeping his goal intact 57 times. He is considered one of the best goalkeepers to have played at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán in recent years. This situation forces the club’s sporting director, Monchi, to explore the market to find a new quality goalkeeper, unless the two parties decide to continue their collaboration.
