Sevilla FC Secures Moroccan Goalkeeper Yassine Bounou in Four-Year Deal

Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou will remain at FC Seville. This is at the price of an agreement between the Andalusian club and Gérone to definitively buy out the contract of the Moroccan international.
"FC Seville and FC Gérone have reached an agreement for the transfer, for the next four years, of the goalkeeper Yassine Bounou who was loaned to the Seville club last season," specifies the sports team of the Andalusian capital in a press release.
Bounou, one of the architects of Seville’s sixth victory in the UEFA Europa League, played a total of 18 matches last season, 10 in the Europa League, 6 in La Liga and 2 in the Copa del Rey.
Under contract with Gérone until 2021, Bounou arrived in Spain in 2012 from Wydad Casablanca. He played for Atlético Madrid’s reserve team and Real Zaragoza, before joining Gérone in 2016.
