Sevilla Goalkeeper Bounou Cleared After On-Field Collapse in La Liga Match

Injured and taken off the field on a stretcher on Sunday during the match against Almería, Yassine Bounou does not suffer from any major complications, the club has reassured.
More fear than harm for Yassine Bounou who collapsed on Sunday following a clash with Srdan Babic in the 35th minute of play on Sunday, during the match against Almería counting for the 25th day of the Spanish championship.
In a statement, FC Seville announced that Yassine Bounou underwent medical examinations which ruled out "any complication". He suffered a "vasovagal episode during the match against Almería, after receiving a strong impact".
According to the same statement, "after being evacuated from the field on a stretcher, the goalkeeper was taken to the Quirón hospital, where all the tests carried out made it possible to rule out any complication". Currently, the Moroccan goalkeeper has been discharged from the hospital and is waiting at home for the disappearance of the symptoms caused by the shock.
Will Yassine Bounou be available for Morocco’s two friendly matches? The Atlas Lions face Brazil on March 25 at the Grand Stade de Tanger, and on the 28th of the same month, they will face Peru in Madrid, Spain. In any case, Walid Regragui has already included him in the list.
