Senegal attacks the Moroccan organization: "A lack of security and equity

The FSF first deplores the lack of security measures during the arrival of the Senegalese delegation at the Rabat train station. According to the federation, this situation exposed the players and technical staff to risks deemed incompatible with the standards of a continental final. In terms of accommodation, the organization specifies that it had to file an official complaint by letter to obtain a 5-star establishment guaranteeing the necessary recovery conditions.

Regarding technical preparation, the FSF has notified the Confederation of African Football (CAF) of its categorical refusal to train at the Mohammed VI Complex. The federation justifies this decision by the fact that these facilities serve as the base camp for the opposing team, i.e. Morocco, thus raising an issue of sporting equity. It also states that it has not received, as of January 16, any official notification concerning an alternative training site.

The ticketing aspect is also the subject of disputes. The FSF considers the official allocation of only two VVIP tickets and the impossibility of acquiring more to be worrying. Although it has purchased 2,850 tickets for its supporters (divided into three categories), the federation believes that these quantities are insufficient to meet the demand, while acknowledging that they correspond to the maximum limits authorized by the CAF. The press release concludes with a call to the CAF and the Local Organizing Committee to implement immediate corrective measures to ensure equal treatment between the finalists.
