US Secretary of State Pompeo Meets Moroccan Leaders in High-Level Diplomatic Visit

For Moroccan diplomacy, Michael Pompeo’s visit "is of great importance and confirms the good health of relations between Morocco and the United States". It is in this context that the meeting between the US Secretary of State and the Moroccan Head of Government took place.

In the presence of several government ministers, the two men had, it is reported, a "warm and cordial" working session, without however providing more details.

On the sidelines of his visit, the US Secretary of State also met with the Director General of Territorial Surveillance (DGST) and the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), Abdellatif Hammouchi.
