Search Intensifies for Missing Moroccan Swimmer Off Spanish Coast

Misfortune for a Moroccan, a candidate for immigration, who found himself exhausted in Ceuta while trying to reach Spain by swimming. He was accompanied by a boy who, he, was able to reach the shore before alerting the maritime security agents. For the moment, the searches have yielded nothing.
The maritime service of Ceuta and the units of the Spanish Civil Guard maritime service have been searching since yesterday morning for a Moroccan who disappeared at sea. They were informed of his disappearance by the minor, his unfortunate companion.
The identity of the missing person was later revealed by his family. It is Badr El Moutaouakil, a 21-year-old living in Fnideq. According to his relatives, he would be an asthmatic, which could explain that he became out of breath during his long swim.
All means have been deployed to find him. The search efforts are concentrated in the Chorrillo area in Recinto and Sarchal. But so far, no sign of life.
Badr El Moutaouakil’s family is desperate. To help the search teams, they provided them with a photo of the latter.
As for the minor, he is out of danger. He was examined by the Red Cross before being transferred to the Tarajal detention center.
