School Bus Collision Near Settat Injures 17 Students, No Fatalities
A collision between a school bus and two grand taxis was about to turn into a tragedy at the level of the commune of Oulad Sghir, 20 kilometers from Settat. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, except for 17 injured.
The school bus was transporting 28 students at the time of the accident, according to the local authorities of the province of Settat. Among the students, 17 minor injuries were reported.
Alerted, the local authorities, the elements of the Royal Gendarmerie and the Civil Protection went to the scene to provide first aid. As for the injured, they were evacuated to the regional hospital of Settat to receive the necessary care.
In addition, an investigation has been opened by the competent authorities to elucidate the circumstances of the accident.
