Schengen Visa Backlog: Moroccan Applicants Face Months-Long Wait Until September

BLS International and TLS Contact service providers would be unable to honor Schengen visa applications during the summer period. Their schedules seem saturated until next September.
Schengen visa applications would be impossible to process by the two providers in Morocco, given the large number of appointments recorded during the summer.
According to Medias24, Moroccans who have not yet made an application to date will have little chance of getting an appointment, as explained by a source at TLS Contact: "the demand is huge and the calendars are full."
Except for some availability for France in August, the two other destinations, namely Spain and Italy, are fully booked until September, and can go up to 6 months of waiting.
This difficulty in managing the growing demand during this period also comes, according to the same source, from the small staff of the three consulates. "The French, Spanish and Italian consulates, who are the real decision-makers for the granting of visas, have limited human and material capacities that do not keep up with the demand and the hosting possibilities of BLS and TLS," it is pointed out.
