Moroccan Travelers Face Extended Delays for Schengen Visa Appointments

The end-of-year holidays in Europe will be complicated for Moroccans, especially for those who do not yet have the "Schengen" visa. The visa application platform is saturated, causing a blockage in the scheduling of appointments.
A deeply worrying situation for Moroccan vacationers who will have to change their travel plans. The number of applicants for the visa concerned has exploded this year, according to Médias24, causing the saturation of the platform. Several applicants have denounced a lack of communication and organization.
Barring any cancellations, there are no more appointments available until November 29, Médias24 specifies.
With 530,000 "Schengen" visas obtained in 2018, compared to 514,872 in 2017, Morocco is ranked second in North Africa.
